Patek Phillipe 5167a Full Set 2017

Launched in 1997 as a youthful, sporty sibling to the Nautilus, the Aquanaut was Patek Philippe’s first watch fitted with a rubber strap—a bold move that caused both a scandal and a sensation. The reference 5167 debuted in 2007 for the model’s 10th anniversary, bringing a larger 40mm cushion-shaped case and the updated Calibre 324 SC. The iconic “tropical” strap is made of a composite material resistant to wear, salt water and UV radiation, while the dial features the brand’s embossed checkerboard pattern.

This 2017 Aquanaut 5167A is presented as a full set. The 40mm stainless steel case houses the automatic Calibre 324 SC, see through sapphire caseback. The original black rubber strap has been cut to fit a wrist circumference of approximately 18cm. The watch is accompanied by its original box, papers and booklets.
