Patek Phillipe 3796 Brushed Silver Dial

The Patek Philippe Calatrava, introduced in 1932 as the ref. 96 is the archetype of the round, elegant dress watch. Reference 3796 is a manual-wind variant from the late 20th century, offering the timeless Calatrava aesthetic with a more traditional, engaging mechanical heart.

On offer is one of my favourite references, a Patek Philippe Calatrava 3796. The 3796 is a modern re-iteration of the original ref. 96, with an updated movement, sapphire glass and the same original proportions. This example comes with a brushed silver dial in excellent vintage condition. This 31mm manual wind watch comes with its solid gold buckle and Patek box. The 31mm proportions actually fit bigger, thanks to the long lugs.
