The 6611B is an early piece of Day‑Date history, made for only a short time in the late 1950s. The ‘B’ stands for ‘Brevet’ (French for patent), referring to the micro‑stella adjustment on the movement. This was Rolex’s first Day‑Date with a 36mm case, a size that’s still the gold standard today. You don’t see these very often.
