The Tudor Submariner 9411, launched in 1973, was the brand’s final dive watch to feature the iconic Snowflake handset. The distinctive square hour markers and hands gave the model its nickname and set it apart from its Rolex siblings. Powered by the ETA-based Calibre 2784, the 9411 was offered in both black and blue dial/bezel configurations, with the blue variation commanding particular attention among collectors today. The French Marine Nationale famously issued blue Tudor Snowflake Submariners to its divers throughout the 1970s. The reference also features Rolex-signed components, including the Oyster case, crown, and period-correct rivet bracelet—a tangible connection to the brand’s shared history.
This 1970s Tudor Submariner 9411 features the collectable blue dial and bezel. The watch is in good vintage condition, running well and recently serviced. The hands have been relumed, and the case retains strong proportions. Comes with its original box, papers, and period-correct rivet bracelet. Note dial has some marks under loupe/macro as pictured & bezel has been repipped.
