Universal Genève Mini Polerouter 27601-2
Universal Genève launched the Polerouter in 1954 to mark Scandinavian Airlines’ new flights over the North Pole, and its design is credited to a young Gérald Genta, who later designed the Royal Oak and Nautilus. The Polerouter was made in a range of sizes, including smaller ladies’ references.
A circa 1960s Universal Genève Mini Polerouter 27601-2 in stainless steel, with a silver dial. The 24 x 35mm case houses an automatic movement. Presented in excellent vintage condition, offered as watch only on a leather strap.
